Behind the Scenes

Path of Dreams was filmed on location, over a period of four days, in Niigata prefecture in Japan.  Shimizuen Garden in Shibata was the primary filming location and served as the home of Komachi.  Yahiko Shrine, nestled in the mountains at the base of Mt. Yahiko, was first built about 1300 years ago, and served as the location for the Kyoto imperial court.  With a misssion of building cultural bridges between the United States and Japan, the production was a truly international collaboration, with cast and crew comprised of professionals from both Los Angeles and Tokyo.
